Data we collect

  • Account data: email address, hashed password, account type, sign-in timestamps.
  • Uploads: PDF and image files you upload (book covers, interior pages, product mockups).
  • Generated content: pin mockups, titles, descriptions, alt-text, hashtags, and CSV files derived from your uploads.
  • Usage data: how often you generate pins, error logs, feature clicks — used to improve the product.
  • Billing data: handled by our payment processor (Paddle). We store your plan and last renewal date; we do not store card numbers.

How we use it

  • To generate pins on your behalf — uploads are sent to our AI model provider (Google Gemini via Lovable AI Gateway) for the duration of a request.
  • To operate your account, apply quotas, and prevent abuse.
  • To email you about service updates or billing. You can opt out of marketing emails.
  • Aggregated, non-identifying analytics to improve PinReady.

Data we do NOT do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not train third-party AI models on your uploads.
  • We do not share your data with advertisers.

Subprocessors

Your data may pass through these providers, each acting under a data-processing agreement:

  • Supabase (EU/US) — database, authentication, file storage.
  • Lovable AI Gateway — AI model inference (Google Gemini).
  • Paddle — payment processing.
  • Cloudflare — edge network and DNS.

Retention

Uploaded files and generated pins are kept while your account is active so you can revisit projects. If you delete a project, its files and pins are permanently removed within 30 days. If you delete your account, all account and content data is removed within 30 days, except records we must keep to comply with tax or fraud-prevention law.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You can:

  • Access the data we hold about you — email hello@pinready.org.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and data — self-serve via /account or by email.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to processing, or withdraw consent for marketing emails.

We respond to requests within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a single authentication cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that follow you across sites.
